what is the elf, warrior, rogue, mage? she looks to be carring a two hander that a warrior weilds but is dressed in clothes like a mage or rogue. and this is from my own experience but i only ever put the strongest armor on my warriors they never wear leather up to the end of the game. and i've only ever played warriors and mages really, on my rogues the few i made i would always pull aggro off alistair and get screwed royally the only one i managed to get to the end with i think was an archer, i built her like a WoW hunter.

oh i'm an idiot didn't read the description well enough, still cool though the fact that she is a female with a two hander says cool in my book.
she also looks like the type you don't want to mess with, we need more tough female characters in the world.

She's a dual wielding Spirit Warrior, using the Cousland sword and Maric's blade.

Ah, yes, also a possibility xD I tend to forget about the Spirit Warrior since I haven't played Awakening near as many times as DAO.
And my first Warden was a Cousland. But I can't remember the sword... Did you get it in the beginning and did I forget about it because I sold it, or do you get it somewhere later in the game?

It's really a crappy sword, which disappoints me a great deal, but you get it from Mama Cousland during the siege and she tells you to use it to kill Howe. So, instead of selling it because BioWare made it tragically awful, I keep it until that moment and use it on Howe. Usually you get a better sword like, the minute you show up in Ostagar, but my headcanon has it being a much better sword, and she carries both of her swords for RP and fic-writing purposes.
SW isn't overly well-known, I suspect, just for the reasons you mentioned. It actually came about in RP because I had a spare talent point to spend for her that I hadn't given her for... well I think at least a year. Then this thing happened.
That's a lot more than you wanted to know. Ahaha. Sorry!

Depends on the mod you get and what difficulty you play on. Both the following mods I found were pretty good till' end game and into early Awakening.
[url=[link] Origin Items[/url] makes all the 'special origin items' a lot better (E.g. Tabris' wedding ring, Cousland Sword, etc.).
If you get Improved Atmosphere, then both the Family Sword and Shield get a different look and become more powerful. There used to be another REALLY good one as well, but it has saddly disappeared from Nexus and bioware social and I no longer have it. D:

It was a fantastically played out moment in RP that caused me to do that. It was sort of random, and just happened to fit with lore and game mechanics very smoothly.
I've never had an arcane warrior Warden. Though, I didn't start playing mages until DA2, if I am honest.

The AW mage can be quite overpower, if built correctly 
And fights against bosses? Pffft, laughable.

Honestly, any build from Awakening becomes incredibly OP really fast. It was part of the reason I never used that third talent point on Kahrin until this thing happened in RP. Then I went back and respec'd her for it.

Mages are simple. Once you have a solid build in mind you can just keep spending those points, because you know you can use those spells at some point.
I believe I already said my BM/AW mage ravaged the Darkspawn, the Archdemon was not that much of a challenge. I laughed at the Mother.

The detail you get in armour and weapons just completely blows my mind. Loving the Grey Warden armour on the end, the effects you used are superb. The second one in (rogue armour?) is also pretty bloody amazing. All those stitches @_@
