i'm planning a samwise cosplay very soon and this should be helpful!
where exactly did you buy the wig that you used?
and any other tips would be greatly appreciated!

You are certainly welcome The wig I used is from Arda-Wigs, they honestly have the best cosplay wigs you can find at decent prices. They're not cheap, but they're not expensive. COMPLETELY worth the investment, they're heat resistant, have a ton of hair, and they look and feel great! Here's their site: [link]

Ummmm, hmm... Use references for the curls, like pictures of the character from all sides so that you can bend all the curls in the right direction and give it the proper level of curliness. It really helps.
