The devil series were always an awesome and horrendously intimidating group to me, although given Dark Moon and Ra Moon, I am left to wonder if the technology was really invented by Wily, or if he obtained it from space somehow, as he apparently did with Shadow Man (who, while technically a Light-Wily RM, is stated as possibly being extraterrestrial in origin)...

Yeah, a lot of media suggest Shadow Man is extra-terrestrial. have you read the Rockman Giga Mix novels, yet?
