Description
First in a series of watercolor beetles I painted for my thesis in college. Plusiotis is a beautiful, bright green scarab that lives in Arizona and southern Mexico. The stripes actually look like metallic silver, although I am not sure that I captured this accurately enough.Luckily my dad is a beetle-collector, so my course materials are unlimited.
