Description Unpopular opinion time: I don't care that much about Star Wars. Now that's not to say that I think the movies are bad or that I dislike them. It's just that I never got as invested in them as other people. I've only seen the each of the first 6 movies twice at most. Most of what I remember about the movies comes from the LEGO adaptation games, which are not exactly accurate depictions of the films' events. This may be why I don't see the original trilogy as being as amazing as others do, and why I don't see the prequels as being as bad as others do. Perhaps if I went back and rewatched the films, I could see why the originals are so beloved and why the prequels are so despised. After all, I liked The Force Awakens and that was the first Star Wars film I'd seen fully in years. Then again, I saw Rogue One and thought it was...meh, so who knows what I'd think of the movies after rewatching them all grown up.
Prior to The Force Awakens, my favorite Star Wars character was Admiral Ackbar. Not that he was a particularly complex character, nor a character who was comic relief as I normally like, but I like him due to his interesting design and his memorable "IT'S A TRAP!" line. After The Force Awakens, my favorite character was Poe, because he was a funny character who was really badass. I also liked Finn, because he seems like the kind of character I'd be in his situation. I often think I'd be more of a classical anti-hero; someone who is full of self-doubt and makes mistakes. If I were in Finn's situation, I'd want to try and run away rather than go back and fight. Those two are what's made me interested in seeing The Last Jedi.
One of the things I was reading about Admiral Ackbar is that his species are called "Mon Calamari." I thought it might be funny if Poe, Finn, and Rey got some calamari from Earth and offered it to Ackbar. Though it's obviously not made from his people (I hope), it's still a bit disturbing to hear something you're eating shares the name with your species. It's like the food was a trap!

Poe, Finn, Rey, and Ackbar (c) Lucasfilm

If May the 4th hadn't been a Thursday, I would have submitted this earlier this month.

EDIT: Evidently, this comic has been featured in 25 Hysterical Star Wars Comics That Show The New Movies Are Better Than The Originals . Nice.

My favorite part is his reaction on the fourth slide, almost as if he's about to throw up. XD
