I've probably talked about it before, but growing up, it's been hard to find vegetables that I enjoy. While I know my body needs the nutrients, my mouth just cannot get over the taste and texture of a lot of vegetables. It's why I've been surprised that, now that I'm an adult, I can tolerate and even enjoy arugula, spinach, and avocado.
I thought I'd draw Odalis and Drew discussing Broderick's aversion to vegetables. It's something that's come up in a few drawings. Broderick can tolerate stuff like BBQ sauce, which has some vegetables, but there's not a whole lot else that he eats with vegetables. Odalis is a bit concerned, though Drew feels sorry(?) for Broderick, since it means he's missing out on Drew's favorite food.
