Description
Back when I first got Mario Kart Wii, Coconut Mall was my favorite course. While it was cool getting to race around other places, something about getting to drive through a mall really amused me. There's so many fun elements, from the escalators to the fountains to the exit ramps to the parking Miis, that it's extremely memorable. While Maple Treeway has dethroned it as my favorite Wii course, I still like it.
For the anniversary of the first Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Pass wave, I thought it would be cute to drawing Waluigi and Daisy at the mall. Since the two of them were both in Mario Kart Wii, they've gotten to experience Coconut Mall plenty of times. Now that it's been brought back from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, they're really happy to return to a place they enjoyed racing through. They are noticing some...oddities. For instance, the escalators are now automated ramps instead of stairs. There's also been some changes to the decorum, such as the removal of all Mii products. They're a bit...taken aback at the changes.
I also gave them outfits based on this drawing by Grapes-y-Oranges
