Description
This took me about 3 1/2 - 4 hours, with a solid 4 - 4 1/2 including the original sketch time. Not sure if i'm loving the fur texture on this one, I feel like I should have made it more subtle. Oh well.I'm iffy on the neck detail too.
I also wanted her to look kinda pissed but... She's Kaylee she didn't look right with the expression.
Fun fact; before I added the hair, the lines looked like I was drawing a cow.

aah i hope you don't mind my giving my opinion
This is a great piece! I really like the hard, sharp lineart; it contrasts nicely with the softer shaded colors and gives a really stylized look to the piece. The neck detailing is actually really nice and adds a lot more shape and form to the piece (rather than just having two trailing-off lines as a neck). The little details in the iris look super cool in my opinion; so many people just leave them solid-colored which sort of takes away some of the liveliness and depth. The subtle shading and detailing on the hair and fur also add quite a bit of depth to the work, making it stand out far more than it already does. In my opinion, the fur strokes could be a little lighter and taking the shape of the body rather than just straight down, but otherwise this was executed perfectly c:
