aww! very pretty, i love your painting style, it's much more defined than a lot of styles I see that are really brushed and don't have much detail to them
~u~ I've yet to look at any of your other pieces, but it seems, at least to me, you should work on making the face a bit more structured, seeing as it's not a flat surface. As in, i think around his eyes could use more shading to make them seem a bit more sunken in to the face. <3
his teeth also don't..well.. look like teeth XD I think they should have some roundness to them and where they would press against the lip would be evident

i agree intirely that my "faces" need more structure. it is something i plan on working on as i continue to swim deeper into the painting/realism field. i've only started to dip my feet in this pool so to say so there is quite alot of improving to do on my part haha XD
as for the tteth.. yeah.. they look really fake.. but i was really unsure how to go about drawing them 8T i mean where do i go to find references for them? if you have any ideas let me know so i can go to them in the future. XD

teefs, yeah, I suppose there might be stock images of sharkteeth somewhere? But I suppose the best way to go about it is practice :>
pf! everyones art has flaws, sometimes those are what make the image unique and all the better for people to enjoy<3 it's a very sweet picture, and it captures quite a bit of karkat-ness while at the same time showing a more calm side to him ;u;

hey i know i'm not perfect and there's always room for improvement so i'll gladly accept that fact hurr hurr~ but yeah faces are difficult to draw indeed. probably because we see them all the time. so it doesn't take much for a face to look wrong or whatever since the look of a correct face is permanently printed into our minds.
i'll check DA's stock images in hopes to find something. or find some cosplays that involve sharp teeth XD
man you should of seen this picture at it's early stages before i tweeked and fixed it up on photoshop XD whooo boy! it was horrible XD
as much as i like angry Karkie to draw him calm was very nice and i enjoyed working on this iece 8D which is the most important things right? art should be enjoyed!

yeah, that's probably very true, often my face structures seem alright until i look at the big picture and realize how wonky it looks XD
go go go! <3 art should be enjoyed and improved upon when the artist wishes to improve on it, even if it's a little out of character, you never know! and it's always an improvement when you're just drawing, sketching, doodling.
