jang's not the type that would actually need glasses, but i thought she'd look cute in them.done in painter 9.5 (sketch, colors) and photoshop 7 (lace overlay.)

everything is handpainted -- but for hair and skin i try to use very saturated shades (to make them look brighter and healthier,) and a lot of contrast in the hair to make it look nice and shiny. usually i start with a base shade, add shadows, then add highlights last.

I like her expression- it looks so coquettishly alarmed. An expression I often try to capture, and fail. :'D
I also like the portions of blue that flow together in different shades- the lips, the cerulean-ness of the hair, and the sky-blue satin with the skull. Also, the fancy lace.
I like it, although, this particular piece isn't like your others. Different style. o.o
