One year ago, "Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair" came out. I've sang the praises of this game a thousand times, and I'll sing them a thousand more. This game is one of the best games I've ever played and is one of my favorite games ever, alongside Splatoon 2, Mario Galaxy, and Cuphead. The Impossible Lair is filled with fun, charm, challenges, and made me fall in love with the characters. The soundtrack is godlike, my favorites being "Hazard Hangar: Hung", "Factory Fright: Flooded", "Pumping Plant: Powered", and "Urban Uprise: Updrift". Do not, I repeat, DO NOT sleep on this game. It is 100% worth your money, unless you're not a fan of 2-D platformers. I may have not played the first game, but this one will forever remain in my heart.
