Description
Vincent had decided that since he had returned he should really start picking up where he left off with Araishia’s training. Doing a bit of freestyle Liberty work would probably be best to ease them both back into their respective roles and would allow him to check her health. He’d hoped that it would be what he needed to deftly get himself back into the swing of things. Everything seemed to be going well for the two of them. Araishia looked happy to be working and away from the foals.

She lifted her feet stunningly and seemed to be doing her own dressage routine. That was until something caught her eye. Suddenly she stood stock still, ears pressed back against her head; white of her eyes shimmering in the afternoon light. She snorted and reared, turning a circle around something hidden in the long grass of the field. Wondering what had gotten into the normally unflappable mare he tried desperately to call her to his side. She refused to come, digging holes in the ground with her hooves and practically hurling herself into the air.

Quick as he could Vincent was by her side, attaching her halter and trying his best to calm her down. Eventually he got her back to her own field, where she seemed to calm down. Once he was sure she was settled and ok he decided to return to the field and see what had actually gotten into her.

He searched seeing nothing obvious until he found a small tuft of grass that was dislodged near by where the mare had spooked. Bending down he picked up a stick and deftly pulled the tuft away. Beneath the grass where buried a couple of cute baby bunnies. They squeaked as the light hit them, beady eyes turning to him as he looked at them. “Huh, she’s afraid of rabbits,” He chuckled to himself.
