COMMENTSI'm kinda super happy with how this turned out.

The time has finally come: I've grown tired of leaving so many of my drawings flatcolored. Why didn't I shade that often? Mostly because the only consistent style I have(/had), is realism. But shading everything realistically is unrealistic , it takes me many hours. I've tried various styles like cell shading and just experimenting with different brushes, settings, programs etc.. but everything always ended with the first or maybe one other drawing, because "simple" styles turn into a complex series of actions that I can't keep recreating for every piece. And just putting some basic shadows/highlights or very rough shading - nah, then I'd rather leave it flatcolor.
Then, after years, it suddenly hit me. Soft shading. This is the result and it's exactly what I was looking for A fun, not super time-consuming method with 3 steps (= easy to recreate) that gives a finished look and leaves space to add details if desired.
I'm happy.
