Description Do you dare challenge Juggernaut? Is this your decree?
Then allow me to speak of your Grimm future which I see.
You stand against him and draw your weapon from your side.
Then you'll meet your end, blinded by your arrogance and pride.

Juggernaut, how they fear your name.
Whose wrath burns fiercer than Hell's flame.
You who crush stones and bodies beneath your feet.
You who cut down armies like stalks of wheat.

The sound of your approach, how it fills the air.
And with it, their hearts fill with despair.
Cherish every single breath.
For soon you will now face your death.

He now moves forth, and swings his blade.
And with it man's light begins to fade.
He slaughters you all with no remorse.
He is Juggernaut, the unstoppable force...

The humans may have Garrett Strider, but the Grimm have Juggernaut. Which I think balances out the power distribution between Huntsmen and Grimm pretty well.

Yeah, after drawing a small scale version of this big lug for the Gate I figured I'd draw him in a much larger pic. So here he is! Sitting on some beat up buildings like a baller!

The Juggernaut and The Specter

Two of the most dangerous grimm in all of remnant and one of the very few that can speak. The Specter focuses on Adapting and the intelligent side of fighting capable of fear projection, telekinesis, levitation, and mind control while its bigger brother the Juggernaut takes a more "direct" approach using its massive size and strength to overpower its opponent. Each of Them is capable of impressive power but if the two of them work together....  god help us all...

oblivion heartless: I agree with you. sometimes Even the best Hunters can be kill by a more powerful being because. the humans only have a short time to live in this world but. we grimm's can live longer than humans so that's why i oblivion heartless. will create a new world order in this very land and there's no one can stop me.  because I am the emperor of the Grimms and my dream will be become a reality. the humans think will win against this battle but no... you fight for your freedom. you fight for your  future. you fight with honor and pride. you fight for justice. you fight with dignity. you fight with bravery. but in the end only Death the seal your fate.

That's one idea I like to toy around with because of how opposite the two are. Spectre, who invokes and weaponize the power of fear. And the much larger Juggernaut, a being of such size and power it undoubtedly leaves many with feelings of despair and hopelessness.

cool art, i wonder who's more terrifying, juggernaut or spectre, imagine like a grimm civil war between the two, sure they could probably tag-team, but were's the fun in that? that would be like a cool concept, we have juggernaut who is destruction incarnate, power and strength, then there's spectre who's fear, deception and terror, you could have spectre make like a shade version of garrett but anything strider related puts juggernaut in a bad mood (you could say juggernaut and garret have a history) so before shade garrett does anything, juggernaut kills it and it goes down hill between spectre and juggernaut, just a thought mind you

Rosenkruex In reply to Zeus007 [2014-12-07 20:05:44 +0000 UTC]

Can't imagine there being a war amongst Grimm, let alone a "Civil" one at that

To me all Grimm are "brothers" (not in the biological sense mind you) and regardless of shape/size/power all Grimm share one common goal, the destruction of man (both human and Faunas). This allows the Grimm to fight alongside, cooperate, and if necessary sacrifice themselves for this single goal. Its something humans have dreamed of for centuries, true unity without discrimination.

Humans would WANT the two to fight, as the thought of something like Juggernaut (the pinnacle of Grimm strength) and Spectre (an entity of pure darkness) united would be something far more terrifying than either is separate.

true but spectre and juggernaut have their own personality right? to me they have no allies for they have no equals, not even amongst themselves, or at least have them disagree with each others tactics, and they view humans so beneath them they can afford to ignore them in favor of out muscling each other

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rosenkruex In reply to Zeus007 [2014-12-07 21:40:00 +0000 UTC]

Well like any "siblings" the two will argue and disagree on what actions should be taken, or what methods should be employed. But ultimately their endgame is the same, and its not like the Grimm have any need for something as "Human" as a king.

Oddly enough, I have the opposite thoughts dealing with Grimm concerning humans. Humans are something you cannot afford to underestimate, let alone ignore. If they were, then there would be no reason for these two to exist.

mmm, good points, i can imagine a scenario of juggernaut and spectre bickering
Juggernaut: we should crush vale were it stands!
Spectre: no, we should do it subtlety, with my shades from the shadows!
Juggernaut: thats stupid and boring
spectre: no your stupid!
juggernaut: well at least im not boring!!!
as for grimm concerning humans, only someone like strider or your oc character hollowhart cannot be afforded to overlook, unless every hunter is like those two than i think as a whole the 2 grimm can ignore most humans as cockroaches

man i love bug's life, childhood right there, but yeah, ingenuity and adaptation, since rwby-verse is focused on the more human antagonist, im wondering if monty will do a grimm fan-art competition after cinder's fall (cough bad pun cough), there was one for velvet's battle combat outfit, if there is one in the future, will you ever submit spectre? it would be cool if one of your fan-art grimm becomes part of the show

I could probably do a Joker speech, though personally I'm more a fan of Scarecrow.

They are a cowardly and superstitious lot. The humans, that is. Angry and terrified over their own impending deaths, those who turn to myths of eternal salvation to comfort themselves must also assuage their guilt with fantasies of perpetual damnation. Nearly every religion has a unique vision. Whether it is the Christians' pedestrian and predictable lake of fire--classical Buddhism's seven "Hot Hells," such as the particularly brutal Sanghata, where the damned are dashed between twin mountains--or the Hindus' Deep Abyss of Lower Darkness where vultures feast on the flesh of its ill-fated inhabitants--each of these wildly disparate spectacles of hell can be described in the exact same way...a land without hope.

That's actually a quote from a DC comic. There's only one bit of dialogue memorable enough from that movie that I could see Spectre using.

Would you like to see what's under my mask? I use it in my experiments...Now, probably not very frightening to a guy like you, but these huntsmen, they just can't stand it. They scream, and they cry. Much as you're doing now...

Oh, you think the darkness is your ally, but you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a monster; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding! The shadows betray you, because they belong to me. I will show you where I have made my home, whilst preparing to bring destruction. Then, I will break you. Your precious armoury, gratefully accepted. We will need it. Ah yes, I was wondering what would break first. Your spirit, or your body.

Behind you is a symbol of oppression. Blackgate Prison, where a thousand men have languished under the name of this man, Harvey Dent, who has been held up to you as the shining example of justice! You have been supplied with a false idol to stop you from tearing down this CORRUPT CITY! Let me tell you the truth about Harvey Dent from the words of Gotham's police commissioner, James Gordon.

"The Batman didn't murder Harvey Dent, he saved my boy then took the blame for Harvey's appalling crimes so that I could, to my shame, build a lie around this fallen idol. I praised the mad man who tried to murder my own child but I can no longer live with my lie. It is time to trust the people of Gotham with the truth and it is time for me to resign."

And do you accept this man's resignation!? Do you accept the resignation of all these liars? Of all the CORRUPT?

We take Gotham from the corrupt! The rich! The oppressors of generations who have kept you down with myths of opportunity, and we give it back to you... the people. Gotham is yours. None shall interfere. Do as you please. Start by storming Blackgate, and freeing the oppressed! Step forward those who would serve. For an army will be raised. The powerful will be ripped from their decadent nests, and cast out into the cold world that we know and endure. Courts will be convened. Spoils will be enjoyed. Blood will be shed. The police will survive, as they learn to serve true justice. This great city... it will endure. Gotham will survive!

Hang on, this needs some tweaking.

*Takes out pencil* scribble-scribble-scribble

Behind you is the symbol of your hope. Beacon Academy, where thousands of Huntsmen have flourished under the name of this man, Professor Ozpin, who has been held up to you as the shining example of peace. You have been supplied with false hope to stop you from tearing apart your corrupt city. Let me tell you the truth about Ozpin from the words of Atlas's general, James Ironwood

"Ask yourself this, do you think your children can win a war! I have served you faithfully for years...but if you mean to tell me that your plan is to hold the defenses, and wait... I refuse to believe that a man that I've trusted for so long would act so... passively."

We take Vale from the humans! The beasts! The aggressors of generations who have reduced us to myths and legends, and we take it from you...the people. Vale is ours. None shall interfere. Do as you please. Start by storming Beacon, and slaying the young! Step forward those who would skewer. For a kingdom shall be razed. The weak shall be ripped from their decadent nests, and cast out into the cold world that we know and thrive. Homes will be crushed. Families scattered. Blood WILL be shed. The Huntsmen will survive, and they will learn horror. This great city...it will fall. Vale will fall!

Rosenkruex In reply to doommm [2014-10-22 22:10:18 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm...that's a tough one to pin down. I'm not opposed to a letter based rank scale, but can't help but feel we'd be able to think outside the box. Something along these lines is what I imagine.

Grimm Threat Scale

Armageddon: World Ender Class Grimm, hypothetical only

Plague: Capable of singlehanded widespread destruction on a grand scale

Reaper: Confirmed Huntsmen/Huntress Killers both experienced and powerful, posses kill counts of terrifying size

Morgue: Grimm with a sadistic streak, High body counts

Bane: Older Grimm, Usually bigger, stronger, and a little more intelligent

Feral: Base Grimm, young guided by instinct (Beowolves, Ursa, ect)

On my scale, I'd say Juggernaut is between Reaper and Plague. Your scale, I'd say S or T.

One odd thought occurred to me concerning the sword. As the weapon is separate from his body (as in, not attached), then perhaps the blade itself is another Grimm?
