Ya'll were expecting his usual appearance, weren't ya? WELL ON YOU. This kid may have had issues but he's not THAT bad. He is supposed to represent the fanbase - and since everyone hates him so much, it's really ironic how his "whiny, annoying" traits perfectly present that. But what if he foreshadows our fanbase, too? He matures later on and is actually useful. Yeah, so what if he "abandons" his life to be with Sonic. If Pokemon were real, I'm sure the lot of you would abandon ship to catch them all. This is no different. Sonic was his one true friend. Plus, hell, he's cuter when he's older. Mature Chris is excellent. I don't mind the character over all but still.
