This is the Scarlett Johansson version of Vermeer's "Girl With A Pearl Earring". If you haven't seen that movie, you should. I love Scarlett Johansson - if I were a lesbian, I'd marry her.Like the Jolie drawing, this one is on a 6x4 notecard for a portfolio class. I would have fixed the color, but I like the color on this drawing, it works for me.
I think I'm going to do a big version of this drawing, on better paper.. perhaps in color if I can get it right.

You blend and have a good transition from the bridge of her nose to the eyebrow. Very smooth and deliberate strokes. Nice.

I started really drawing when I was 10. I don't feel the need to draw quicker, and I really hate advice. I draw the way I want to, and that's that, you know. But thanks anyway.

I'm sayin' is there is nothin' wrong with takin' advice and gettin' better. I mean to this day, even though everybody says that my artwork is amazing, I'm still finding new ways to improve my craft, and there's nothing with that, I just want to be the best at what I do

When I want advice, I ask for it. I'd rather learn on my own, and when I have questions, I ask them myself. And I understand that you weren't trying to tell me something I already know. I'm not concerned with being the best at drawing. I draw because it makes me feel good, it's a hobby not a career (for me).
Whenever I take instruction from other people about my art, it never turns out right, I get frustrated and it results in me not drawing for months. I'd prefer that didn't happen again. I don't see anything wrong with this drawing, I'm extremely proud of it, and I don't think that it should be 'better.'

Yeah, I don't use too much to create my drawings. My artsy friends always complain that everything is too light and there's not enough shading, but I get the point across even with the little that I do, so *shrug*
