The Princess of Elysium:
The princess of a lost race of people, Ginger was frozen in cryostatis for ten thousand years before the arrival of the new Paladins of Voltron at the Castle of Lions awoke her from her slumber. Strong-willed and whip-smart, Ginger takes no nonsense from the Paladins and does everything she can to guide them in their battle against Gaius, the man responsible for her home's destruction. As an Elysian, Ginger is able to both sense and manipulate the life energies of others, and uses these abilities to be a talented healer when needed – her power is also the only one in the team strong enough to power the certain systems of the Castle of Lions, including the power to create wormholes in order to make travelling across the cosmos a bit easier. Handy with a staff and a whip, Ginger is more than capable of handling herself in a fight and has a stubborn habit of rebuking suggestions that she stays out of trouble (her Moonblood advisor, Sanjin, is typically the only one who can ever persuade her to take a step back every now and then). A kind and determined soul, Ginger constantly feels the weight of the universe on her shoulders, feeling responsible for the Paladins now under her command, but luckily she has not only Sanjin, but her younger brother, Jin, as well as four baby nimbats – Smidge, Pan, Niju and Lisel – to cheer her up whenever she is feeling under the weather. As a leader, Ginger runs the team strictly with Dust as her second-in-command. As a sister, Ginger loves Jin dearly and does all she can to teach him of his heritage as the Prince of Elysium, even if she gets weirded out by the fact that her baby brother can practically pass as her twin now.
