Howdy Ya'll Long time ay?
Anyway this is some school work that i've been doing lately. One of our assignments was to re design a villain from literature from one of those top 100 lists. I chose Long john Silver because a) Pirates are pretty cool and b) i love the book.
There's actually a lot of thought behind the design which i hope people familiar with the character will appreciate. We also had to use an animal as reference. I bet no one will guess it because it's not obvious but hopefully i'll get away with it i Put the animal motifs in his costume but i didn't detail this too much so yar.
I'm also nearly finished with a model sheet for him which i might upload. Anyway i enjoyed this, it was fun to try a different painterly style. I still need to work on my technique though ha ha.

I'm still taking portrait submissions so send me a picture. I'm going camping on the weekend for my birthday (YAY!) so i'm going to draw a lot .
