She looked like she stepped out of an old black-and-white movie. The kind of femme fatale that haunt private eye's secret fantasies and worst nightmares. The fact that pointed ears poked out of her hair only added to the intrigue.
"I'm looking for Nick Retro, the private eye." She purred. "have you seen him?"
"Not since I cut myself shaving this morning." I said, trying not to sound too enthusiastic. "Why don't you take a seat and tell me why you're here."
Although I didn't know it at the time, my invitation for her to sit down was the first of many dumb things I would do that day...

Funny is that 10 states in my country (USA) legalized weed recently. I went to Las Vegas, Nevada for my dad's wedding and all i smelled on the streets was weed.
