Great Cerastes cerastes shot! They do look kinda like sidewinders (Crotalus cerastes spp.), but their horns are a little more intense. Haha
I've been able to see one sidewinder in the wild so far. They're pretty amazing snakes.

Ah I'm jealous, we don't have many species of reptiles in the UK (7 in total). I'm still trying to see them!

I'm definitely familiar with all of the UK's reptiles. I was supposed to visit a friend in Brighton last summer and I was hoping to get out and find Vipera berus and Natrix natrix.

snake is one of my favourite animals. they're so beautiful, they're move so easily without legs and thy can be dangerous too. wonderful.

This isn't infact a sidewinder, although it looks rather similar. The Horned Viper doesn't possess a rattle, whereas a sidewinder does. Beautiful snakes tho
