Description
I have no pictures of you and me,Memories of us are charred, barren,
Remains of lust, disgracing my backyard.
I rejoiced around the bon fire that night,
Watching the colors of us fuse together.
It was our only factual partnership,
The spurting of blue rhumba flames,
Fading into embers, erasing proof of you.
The frames that once held our impression,
I replaced with fabricated couples.
Adventure of limitless admiration,
A fable that could never be genuine.
Bound to a story that can not change,
They will forever lust for one another,
Never to satisfy that starvation to embrace.
Frozen inches away from meeting passion,
They are bound to withstand my tortures,
A motionless testament to my demolished heart.
