I told *Maseiya that I was going to colour another one of her sketches first... but the more I looked at this, the more I liked it. I just couldn't resist.I you you like it dear... it took me long enough.
I would also like to dedicate this to my best friend Rosegoddess882 . She's the one who got me to read the books, and the unlucky person who has to put up with all my theories, and non-canon ships, which she HATES. But she lets me, and I love her for that. This is also an apology for not seeing her very often lately, and for yelling at her about Snape (HE'S GOOD I TELL YOU).
Other than that... this took me a long time. And I don't know if I'm satisfied with it, but I just can't look at it anymore. Sorry there's no BG, but I'm terrible with backgrounds.

I must know! How did you color this? What medium did you use? Or was it a computer program? Please excuse the self-taught amateur, I think this picture is so well done! It's pretty!

After I color a layer, like the hair for instant, I double it. I copy the hair layer so that it's there twice and then I mess with the fill perfectage until it looks more natural.
Then I can apply subtle filters to make the fabric look like fabric, and make the highlights and shadows come through in the hair.
If that doesn't make any sense, then that's my bad. I use photoshop, and I pretty much taught myself that program. Although, there are a LOT of great tutorials here on DA to help!
If you have any other questions, let me know. I'd be more than willing to explain more.

Oh wow!!!!! This is so good!!! I strongly believe Harry and Ginny should be together and Ron and Hermione together. Hermione obviously has a crush on Ron, the way she acted in the book and in this picture!!!! So adorable!!!
