Description Fuh-hinally!!
Ahhh, dear Fez, when I said gimmie a day I really meant to multiply that by like fifty-billion. BUT ANYWAY!

This is my half of an art trade with ! And it is obviously the great Gaston from Beauty and the Beast!
And dudeos, go check out his half, it rocks my world! [link]

I tried a new way of using photoshop (yet again!) this time using =One-Vox 's video tutorials [link] . And hey, they're some of the few tutorials where I've actually learned something! 'specially the line art one and 'applying texture without looking like a douche'.

Pwah. So I want to do more trades n stuff in the future, but now is a bad time... I'm up to the gills in art shit right now haha.

Andddddd yeah. HA!

Sooooo great! I like how you got his essence of cockiness in the face. It's got a cool painted look! I gotta check out this tutorial and see if I can try it.

You even put reflection on the sword? Awesome.

Huzzah! His sword is actually the part I'm most proud of coloring-wise! I kinda like his nose too!

mmmm but I needa learn how to get the lines to be less dominant.. and how the layers should go n stuffffffff... Rrrr damn photoshop n it's complex-ness!

If you keep the lines on a separate layer than everything else, I've seen some people select parts of their lines and match it up with a similar slightly darker color that it contains. It doesn't erase the lines, but I guess it makes it look more natural.

This isn't the best example, but this guy kinda does it: [link]
