Okay... so I was thinking about how I never do any deviations relating to any holidays, and I thought that what with Valentine's Day coming up, and the new Black Family Tree which has partially been unveiled, I'd do a family tree.
This is the first instalment. Tonks/Lupin family tree. Pink is what we know to be canon, and black is my fan fiction.
Andromeda: Quite pleased with her actually, her hair is inspired by Polly in Faulty Towers... lol. I worked backwards with Andromeda. I already have Bellatrix, Narcissa and Tonks clearly in my mind, so she is a cross between Narcissa and Tonks.
Ted: He didn't turn out at all like I thought he would, but I really like him! He looks quite Muggle, actually! Which kinda fits. lol.
Tonks: Is seriously easy for me to draw, so long as I get her jaw right...
Ameli: Reminds me of someone, but I can't think who... it's bugging the hell outta me... quite happy with her.
Faustulus: Is totally hwat. lol. I am soooo happy with him. He kinda has this mischievous look on his face, which he always should have. lol. And he's blonde! I didn't know that! lol
Remus: Started out as being 17, and then I developed the idea for the tree... so he's stuck at 17, with Tonks at 22... lmao. I've noticed I've changed his hair colour recently... I was actually having him with darker brown hair, but I pulled on the reigns, and now it's back to light brown
Romulus: I made a mistake in my fan fiction! *gasps* Romulus is meant to look like this. But in my fan fic, he is said to have light brown hair too... *is a prat sometimes* He has dark brown hair, which he inherited from Ameli's father. *BAD ROTAE* lol.
And as you can see... the family tree is not complete. We're going to have Bella and Roddy, Narcissa, Lucius and Draco, B, N and A's mother and father, their brother and sister in law and their two sons, Sirius and Regulus, THEIR mother and father's mother and father, and that father's sister and brother in law, Dorea and Charlus Potter, and their son James and his wife Lily, and their son Harry... and Lily's parents and her sister and brother in law and their son... lol. It's just never ending!! I'm almost done with Droea, Charlus, Lily, Petunia, and Mr and Mrs Evans. Dorea and Charlus completely ROCK. They were so much fun to draw, as were Mr and Mrs Evans, and Petunia was an absolute doll! She looks great!!

It's not Teddy's name, it's Ted's name that I made Edward. Teddy's full name is Ted Remus Lupin.

Tonks and Lupin have a son named Ted. And not Edward. Just telling, if you ever wanna add more to this family tree...

Ted is short for Edward. Just because they didn't name their kid Edward doesn't meant that isn't Ted's full name. And their son is Teddy
And I did this over a year ago, so I didn't know about Teddy.

Yeah. Remus John Lupin is right. But, his brother, Romulus, is older. So he got named after their father in my story

... well, for two reasons.
1. She's a metamorphagus, so she can look how ever the hell she wants... lol.
2. Eye color comes from a combination of two black and yellow pigments called melanin in the iris of your eye. If you have no melanin in the front part of your iris, you have blue eyes. An increasing proportion of the yellow melanin, in combination with the black melanin, results in shades of colors between brown and blue, including green and hazel.
Each human has 46 chromosomes located in the nucleus of the cell. These are divided into 23 pairs of chromosomes. A baby inherits one chromosome from each parent in each pair of chromosomes. A piece of DNA on a chromosome is called a gene. Genes are the basic unit of heredity, they determine many characteristics about a baby. Genes also come in pairs. Alleles are found in genes and determine the appearance of any characteristic. There are two alleles for each trait inherited. If the two alleles are the same then they are homozygous for that gene. If the alleles are different, then they are called heterozygous. One allele is expressed over the other allele. This is called the dominant allele, the unexpressed allele is called recessive. For example, if there was a brown allele and a blue allele, the brown is dominant, so the person would have brown eyes. But not just one pair of genes can control a single trait. Right now there are three known gene pairs that control eye color. The bey 2 gene on chromosome 15 contains a brown and blue allele. Also on chromosome 15, the bey 1 gene is the central brown gene. On chromosome pair 19 the gey gene contains a green allele and a blue allele.
A green allele is dominant over a blue allele, and a brown allele is dominant over both green and blue alleles. For the bey 2 gene if a person has a brown allele then they will have brown eyes. In the gey gene the green allele is dominant over the blue allele, but it is still recessive next to a brown allele. For example if a person has a brown allele on chromosome 15, but all the other alleles are blue or green, they will have brown eyes. A green eyed person would have a green allele on chromosome 19 and all or some other blue alleles. Blue eyes are produced only with two blue eye genes. All four alleles must be blue to produce a blue eyed person.
So... to use an example. Both my grandparents had brown/hazel eyes. But my mother, and her sister both have green. And their brother has brown. My mother's grandmother had hazel eyes, but her grandfather had blue. So, my mother's mother carries Brown, Green and Blue genes. My mother has inherited green and BLUE genes, because I am blue eyed, and the only way for me to have blue eyes, is if I get both blue genes from my parents (because if I got my mum's green gene, then I'd have green eyes).
So, to put it simply. You can get a green eyed child from almost any combination if your parents carry the gene, with the exception of two blue eyed people, because they're only ever going to have blue eyed children.
