Ah, my first commission of the new year! This is for NapstablooksDreams , who wanted a blue peridot full body design. I didn't know if you wanted limb enhances or not so for the moment I did one without the limb enhancers and the gem is under her bangs. I hope you like her!Blue Peridot design and art© Me.

Last I checked the stone peridot only came in shades of green.

I didn't pick the color, the person I made it for did. For the actual real life peridot gems the colors are yellow, to yellow-green, olive-green, to brownish, sometimes a lime-green, to an emerald-ish hue. There's even some peridots with milky inclusions.

Not sure why the person wanted blue but I was able to make it work.

maybe they just liked the color blue and didn't know peridots don't come in that color

Sort of reminds of my Gem OC. He's a Forsterite (a type of peridot) Gem, who also serves Blue Diamond. At least, until he flees to earth, having be slated for shattering due to not only disobeying BD's orders, but also shooting her in panic.
