NOTE: 2000px wide, full-view is quite somethingSkateboard deck assignment for class. I think I'm in love. More Samuel Butler boys for this one, doing what it is they always seem to do.

P.S. Guest lecturer said that working digitally and making printout FLAWLESSLY mounted onto the deck was almost like "cheating." Fuck you, I spent hours making sure it looked seamless. Just because I use Photoshop doesn't mean I'm not a real artist.

Awesome perspective! I'm in love with the colors and all the line work. And screw the lecturer, Photoshop takes a ton of skill and hard work to make art look as cool as what you did with this.

i think there's a difference between solely using photoshop, and incorporating traditional with photoshop.
i mean, you can draw, obviously, and, if i'm not mistaking, your line art is done by hand, correct?
digital art is a difference art form. yeah, it's not traditional, but it's not cheating.
i can't do digital art to save my life, hence going into traditional art.

I think they believe it's easier to draw and paint using computer programs, obviously they haven't tried using a tablet, because although it's easier for drawing on a PC, it's nowhere near as easy as using a pencil or pen...
