Description This is a tin I've decorated with polymer clay, a glass "dragon's eye", and a decorative blue stone. I've used various metallic waxes and powders on the finished product - which has given it a glittery and almost metal-like appearance.

The outer layers of "scales" have been brushed with a dark gold colour, while the inner part has remained a dark metallic blue

Unlike , I like the fingerprints! I think in a way it gives it texture, though I definitely understand where other people might not like it as much. Still, this is a beautiful piece of work and looks like it was very time-consuming.

Thanks - Yes, it's something I'm working on... I've ordered some fine buffing paper that I'm hoping will get rid of it fairly easily. If that doesn't work, I'll move on to using the gloves.

This looks awesome, but I don't like the fingerprints, maybe invest in some latex gloves?

Thanks I'm really happy with how it turned out. As soon as I get more small tins and boxes I'll make some more! I'm thinking a nice red one next...
