This seems to leave out Deathstroke and Terra's odd connection.

Garfield you have my undying sympathy, and Terra...you intrigue me deeply. Her powers would naturally make her fellow Titans wary of her, and her 'dirt nap' at the hands of Slade is surprising but leaves me with a few questions I am sure will be answered in good time. Her Geokinesis is much stronger than I first imagined and that makes her a bit more scary and badass (badass scary let's call it). You've proven a high aptitude with this character Roy, the same level you've shown with every other character: Bravo!

So she can put herself into suspended animation of her own free will, or is that something she can only use subconsciously?
I haven't heard of Almanhi before. Where'd that come from?
Also, I remember Deathstroke's old Arkham File mentioned the old idea of him seducing Terra. Is that no longer canon?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Roysovitch In reply to nightcrawlerfan19 [2016-10-29 00:02:57 +0000 UTC]

-It is a subconscious survival mechanism as of right now. She has not experimented with it to see if she can do it at will.
-Almanhi, according to Google is the Arabic word for 'Terminator', which is how I explained the "the Terminator" epithet that used to always accompany Deathstroke. If there is a better translation, which I am sure someone will point out, I reserve the right to change his League name.
-His Arkham File says he has a disturbing history with teenagers and has been known to seduce one. It doesn't specify it was Terra. Anyway, the Arkham Files were created before I had done my firm plotting of Earth-27 and I was just kinda 'winging it' with the Arkham Files and a lot of that stuff is written by an ignorantly biased character (my E27 counterpart, Dr. Roy Westerman) who is not privy to the same information as Oracle. I'm not saying Slade's Arkham File is wrong, but anything written in the Oracle Files usually supersedes what is written in an Arkham File.

Admittedly, experimenting with that could be pretty traumatic, given her prior experience with that power.
Okay, I can see that.

She's a firm maybe. I've discussed the possibility before, but her status right now is a definite 'maybe'. Much like Terra, she's not an absolute thing until someone sponsors her.

DoctorXCraft In reply to Roysovitch [2016-10-28 23:30:15 +0000 UTC]

Will you also do one for Almanhi?
Now that we're in that subject, just out of curiosity, can you disclose the "League names" that you're planning on giving the characters?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Roysovitch In reply to DoctorXCraft [2016-10-28 23:50:28 +0000 UTC]

Most likely won't do League of Assassins variants for characters like Deathstroke, at least anytime soon. Too many others to get to... and Deathstroke would usually just wear what we see him wearing as Deathstroke when around the League anyway as his status with them allows him to not adhere to the rank and file's uniform practices.

As for disclosing all the League names: I could, but I reserve the right to change them if I find that the Arabic translations are off... and I will do that once we have the likes of Merlyn, Shado, The Hook, and a few other important League members so that I can just do a big special "League of Assassins" piece with all that information included.

It's called telling a story.

Plus, Gar's life ain't all bad. Sure he has green skin and is stuck in the body of a teenager for another decade or so, but he does have superpowers and lives in a Tower where his best friend is a half-robot that plays video games with him... and he gets to hang out with the likes of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman on occasion.
Plus, he has the metabolism of a teenager so his diet consists of Big Belly burgers and milkshakes and he hasn't gained any weight from it.

TheScarletMercenary In reply to Roysovitch [2016-10-28 23:34:51 +0000 UTC]

Wait, isn't Gar a Vegan?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Roysovitch In reply to TheScarletMercenary [2016-10-28 23:42:16 +0000 UTC]

In the Teen Titans cartoon, he is a vegetarian.
In TT Go, he is also one... but apparently a bad one by evidence of him eating Pepperoni pizza and some meat sandwiches in some episodes.
In E27, he is also a vegetarian (not a vegan) and eats Big Belly's Garden or Tofu Burgers... but it also worth mentioning that he does give in to meat cravings from time to time due to animalistic impulses, much to his personal shame.
As far as I know, he is not a vegetarian ir vegan in the comics.

TheScarletMercenary In reply to Roysovitch [2016-10-28 23:48:27 +0000 UTC]

I see.

For a minute there I thought you were going to turn him into an extreme omnivore, which is fine and would open up to thousands of hilarious moments if he turns into an alien animal.

Dick: Vic, don't encourage him, one time he turned into one of those Tameranean dog things and ate the Batmobile.. Yeah, the whole car... with a fork.

Interesting. Poor Gar though. Also what's with the death of a team member causing the Titan generations to break up?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Roysovitch In reply to TheBlakeBuz [2016-10-28 21:24:56 +0000 UTC]

Trust me, death has a way of changing people's world view.
For Nightwing and Cyborg, they joined the JLA.
For Starfire, she went to space.
For BB, he gave up on heroics for a bit and tried his hand at being an actor in Hollywood.
As for Raven, she did the unthinkable... she fell in love with Beast Boy... for a while.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheBlakeBuz In reply to Roysovitch [2016-10-28 21:46:51 +0000 UTC]

Ah ok. But I meant it's kinda interesting that both Gen-1 and Gen-2 had a major members death which eventually lead to there disbandment because I do know death can affect people in big ways.

Roysovitch In reply to TheBlakeBuz [2016-10-28 21:58:00 +0000 UTC]

Sure. Sure. And two teammates' deaths breaking up two teams if Titans was a big reason why Gen-3 had to start out as a covert operation.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheBlakeBuz In reply to Roysovitch [2016-10-28 23:01:29 +0000 UTC]

That's probably a good idea because you know how bad for there image it would be if 3 teenage sidekicks died. I can see what G. Gordon would say now: "A sad moment earlier this week in the Louisiana bayou, as Generation 3 Titan and Sidekick to The Flash, Kid Flash (used him as an example because of how time Wally has died in the past) was killed by Vandal Savage while on a mission to destroy the Legion. Now I what you're thinking folks 'Gordon, we heard about this days ago from sources like GBS and the Daily Planet. Why are you bringing this up now?' Because I decided I would wait until today, Halloween 2011, the 5th anniversary of the second Robin's death. He too was on a mission when the Joker kidnapped him, tortured him on a live stream set up by the Riddler, and was tied up to the bat-signal after they killed him. And this is after while on another mission, Princess Tyra Markov of Markovia aka Terra was killed by the assassin Deathstroke and was buried alive. How many more dead sidekicks will it take until the U.N., Argus, and Child Services hold the almighty Justice League responsible for recklessly endangering young, impressionable teenagers? Now I know it's dangerous to fight as a superhero and casualties happen, but yet the Justice League has had not 1, not 2, but 3 casualties of children mind you and they still let them fight super criminals with inhuman strength and weapons not even from our world. Not to mention more superpowered individuals are popping up everyday. And like all of us they will eventually grow old, so like Batman and Superman and The Flash they will try to recruit impressionable people to train and fight there wars on crime so that when they die they can take their old mantles. And who's more impressionable than children who buy there toys and see there antics on the news and want to be like them without realizing the danger of the occupation. How long until a child you know is recruited and killed because of there love of these so called superheroes? Or tries to be a hero and goes out to fight crime and end up getting themselves killed? That's why I call for a new guideline to be put in place the League's UN charter that states that no one under the age of 18 can be recruited by any member of the League and if one is the child will be taken away from the hero and the hero themself will be put in jail."
