Description 14th entry for Audre Schutte 2020's prompt for Mythic May

Inhabitants of Scandinavian forests, the Huldras are somewhat similar to Greek dryads and Celtic fairies, with the females - called Hulder - being seductive when viewed from the front, but with their backs covered with tree bark and with cow tails, or even with a hole like a hollow tree, being classically seductive entities that can drive a man to insanity. Males, called Huldrekall, are described as more grotesque and monstrous, with large troll-like noses. In Icelandic and Faroese folklore, the Hidden People are called "Huldufolk", being very similar to the celtic Tuatha de Dannan.

I chose to bring influence from the dryads of The Witcher universe, but also pay a small tribute to two very dear friends .
