Rowan’s quirk gives her the abilities of a ghost (malevolent or benevolent). Using her quirk, she is able to use the abilities of telekinesis, intangibility, and invisibility.

Limitations:
-While she can use the three powers together, they get weaker the more there are. For instance, if she used telekinesis on its own, it would be much more powerful than if she used telekinesis, intangibility, and invisibility all at once.
-Because some ghosts can become more malevolent, the longer she uses her quirk, the more out of control she can become and the more violent she gets.
-The longer she’s exposed, the longer it takes
for her to ‘return to normal’; meaning her
personality alters slightly for some time.
-She can really only use her quirk for at most 20 minutes before she starts becoming more malevolent.
(Individual limits)
-Rowan can only successfully move objects that weigh as much as or less than her. Anything that weighs more than her puts a lot of strain on her. If she goes ten pounds over her weight, she can’t lift it. (For reference; Rowan weighs about 115 lbs)
-She can only move through thin and semi-thin walls. For example, she cannot phase through a solid brick wall.
-Certain types of wall are also a bit more difficult for her to move through (from least difficult to most difficult: glass -> plaster -> drywall -> wood -> brick -> concrete -> steel, etc etc).
-Just cause she’s invisible doesn’t mean she can’t be heard. Her footsteps still make sounds and she can still be heard breathing and moving around.

For the most part, Rowan is a pretty introverted and quiet girl. She would prefer to blend into the background and disappear than be in the center of attention, even for short periods of time. That being said, she’s willing to take charge in the case that she needs to; rather than letting things fall apart, Rowan will do what she can to act as a leader of sorts. Loyal to a fault, she will do whatever she can for her friends and family without question; this does, however, lead her to be slightly clingy as one of her fears is losing those closest to her. Rowan is very confident in most of what she does, so much so that she will ignore what people may say about her. Though confidant, one of her many habits are to do things on impulse, forgetting to think about the consequences of her actions or words.

Rowan isn't exactly the first person one would call “friendly.” She has a rather short temper and, when paired with her bluntness, leaves her with the habit of making snarky remarks more often than she means to. She can be very sarcastic, which only makes things worse when paired with her blunt and deadpan way of speaking. She does not take to people quickly, staying rather indifferent to them until she either warms up to them or grows to despise them. Preferring to keep those she already doesn’t consider a friend at a distance and, while she’s willing to work with others, her temper and sarcasm may cause some problems. She can and will be open with people about whether she likes them or not, believing that honesty is better than lying.

Likes: Anime + manga, video games, lemon flavored candies, music, coffee, snow, plants.

Dislikes: Heat, dolls, country music, tea (love-hate relationship), bright lights, sports, social interactions, dead plants.

History:
Rowan, having been born the oldest child of a musical actor and a pro-hero, has seen the ups and downs of such a relationship. The strains of never being able to see each other and quiet arguments eventually lead to her parents divorcing, as amicably as possible. Her father went on to become a successful actor on Broadway and her mother remarried not very long after, moving Rowan and her two sisters in with her new husband.

It was in the middle of her one of her classes in second grade that Rowan’s quirk manifested; one second she was there, and then another she was gone. After a panicked call to her parents from her teacher, Rowan’s father decided it’d be best if he were to teach her and her twin about their quirks, as both of them showed similarities to his own.

By the time she reached the end of high school, Rowan still was unsure of what to do with her life. Before high school started, she had been receiving help from a psychiatrist who, as she was reaching graduation, suggested that she take some time to decide what she planned to do for the future. She put off going to college for a while, focusing on herself and what she planned to do. During that time, she interned with her step-father’s hero agency, helping others and watching her mother in action. It was during that time that Rowan figured out what she wanted to do; after watching her mother all her life helping and saving people, Rowan decided that she wanted to pursue becoming a hero.

With that in mind, she moved herself over to an apartment with her cousins in Boston and sent in her application to Schuyler, hoping to be given the chance of reaching her goal.
