Description
In 1901, the White Pass and Yukon Route railroad completed a steel bridge at mile 18 in Alaska. At 215 feet high, it was the tallest bridge of it's kind in the world, at the time. It was bypassed in 1969 by a new bridge and tunnel, due to heavier trains. If you have not had the chance to ride this railroad, well you don't know what your missing.
