I have no idea what to do for the background, so you get this confusion. (I have no idea how long I drew this, but the background added practically another HOUR to the mix).Anyways, this is what I imagine if Kopaka was actually a Toa of Fire instead of Ice. Originally, I challenged myself to come up with a redesign of Kopaka Mata, but I began thinking, "Gee, these clothes look like they belong to a Ta-Matoran." AND DING! I got an idea! I chose the color of orange for his eyes since blue's contrasting color is orange. And I changed his hair because Ta-Matoran rarely have their hair slicked back, unlike Ko-Matoran. I even gave one little tweak to Kopaka's personality. Despite his justful behavior and stern attitude, Kopaka could blow up at any second, releasing a lot of tension held up inside. And the eyepatch thing applies to regular Kopaka as well, it's just a design choice I made to make him look a bit more easy to look at.
I might do the other Toa, and I do have a good idea of which elements they'll be swapped with. Maybe you could suggest who I do next? If not, then it'll be my decision. Have a nice day guys!

Well,this is something that I have never seen,heard of or even thought of.
Nice and congratulations on being the first one I have seen something like this.
And I like the idea of Kopaka being so high strung that he seems calm and collected,but having a hair trigger temper.
Now I am just woundering if it would be best for Tahu or Gali to be the Toa of ice? Given the change,Tahu should be Ice,,but at the same time,Gali could also work as the Toa of Ice and Tahu as water.
I don't know,this is your idea.Go ahead and go wild with it.

I'll give you a hint, Tahu and Gali are not the Toa of Ice. I made it so it wasn't similar swap, like Fire with Ice and Ice with fire. More like, "Give your power to the person on your left."

And I checked the comments below,Onua as the Toa of Ice,didn't see that coming,but I can defentively see it working.
And that swapping style will really be interesting to see what the other four elements will go to.......Tahu as either the Toa of Air or Water would be really fun to see,but somehow I can see fit his personality. Lewa as Toa of Water I can also see working while Pohatu might fit as Toa of Air now that I think about it.
This whole AU is worthy of a story of it's own....I can just imagine Fire!Kopaka as somebody who would just yell "SHUT UP" at everyone at one point or another.

Oh, about Onua, I changed the Toa if ice to being Pohatu. Heh... ^ ^' This'll be the last change, tho. (I had to change the elements a few times.)
Fun fact, before I made the change, Pohatu was actually supposed to be Toa of Air. XD There're some pretty interesting ideas you have there.
Oh, maybe I should write a story, or at least shorts. Hah, That'd be a sight to see. XD

Okay......That I have a harder time seeing,but I can defintively see Pohatu's rather free spirit work with the element of ice.Thou,since you are going to change one detail about their personality,I wounder how that is going to play out with Pohatu.
Air and Water are probably the elements I have the easiest imagining fitting for the other toas. But it will be fun to watch what element goes to whom as you continue this little series.
Perhaps you could do something small and simple so that one can get a clearer take on the changes of the team.

He looks great, and interestingly, he looks distinct enough from Tahu so that he doesn't look like Tahu, if that makes sense. You can still see Kopaka's stoic nature being portrayed very nicely!!

Even though it'd be cool to see Lewa as a Toa of Ice, (no pun intended) It'll mess a bit with my plans of swapping the Toa's powers consistently. (It'll be like Onua or Pohatu received the same power) So instead, Pohatu will be the Toa of Ice.
