For 'sĀ A Nuzlocke Reverse Gijinkas Collaboration(OPEN)I'd recommend if you check it out- if you got a nuzlocke protagonist and a few hours to yourself, at least.
Soooo Caleb. Gallade. You have no idea how many hours I've spent wondering what this kid's reverse gijinka is and even now I'm not so sure, but I ended up going with Gallade for a few reasons, at least for this collab.
Also, Gallade is fun to draw. Not sure I did all that good, but it was fun nontheless. I decided to go with more avian-inspired features (somewhat like Mass Effect's Turians, to an extent) and a crest similar to the pointed hats worn by yamabushi sohei. Plus, his markings are meant to look more like his jacket and blah blah I'll stop rambling now.

It's a cool looking Gallade? I'm thoroughly impressed. I second the comment about the hips. I thought that part was unsalvagable without ignoring it completely.

Ahhh perfect, that's what I was aiming for- that kid needs to smile once in a while because at this point he's probably known more for his resting srs grumpface than anything else, I'd reckon.

Come to think of it, he really will? Like i've drawn him smiling before, but it's usually the little casual smile, where you just turn up the corners of your mouth.
Here's hoping that, somewhere along the plot, someone makes him crack a genuine large smile :'D

Ah thank you! I figure it looks a bit better than doing something else, like giving him some kind of big feathery belt or something- more akin to the lean physique of gallade~
I'm not sure how much a gallade's blades would differe from each other in the wild, but I figured going with a more wakizashi styled blade would make it at least somewhat different c:

It works really well! I feel like more feathers would have given off a strange cross between a Blaziken and an Altaria xD
