This one is just a straight forward painting of a lion. Trying to use some more textured brushes. Yet in the end I fell back on the good ol' round brush to finish it. I never feel comfortable using custom brushes and leaving it as is, I almost always just paint over them. Though I do like how the ragged edges turned out.Related content

great painting! I really like the way you used the custom brushes AND the round brush. I used to not really use custom brushes either, but then I realised it looks best when you both.... I also like the way you did the shading! with the yellowish light and the blue shadows. very nice!
