Updated 2016: Back in 2011 I did an "Elseworlds" redesign of Aquaman as a gladiator. As part of an effort to replace older drawings in my gallery with new ones, I decided to draw what I imagine Jason Momoa might look like if Warner Bro's ever had the guts to put him in his classic costume. Since I recently posted a drawing of Superman with Krypto I thought it would be funny to draw him a pet seahorse. Maybe I should draw the entire Justice League with their pets?Related content

I apologize, it's a good design and premise, but his title sounds really goofy to me.

Aquila was a common enough man's name during the Roman Empire and a murmillo is a type of gladiator. Sorry if my use of historical names sounds "goofy". We are talking about a redesign of AQUAMAN here...
