InformationI kind of can't believe this image even happened. I was bored and listlessly going through my pictures, re-organizing and fine-tuning everything like the neurotic dude I am, and I came across one final file I didn't know--"Zy." So I opened it and saw a barely-started galaxy background and remembered an image I'd started months upon months ago for someone I no longer associate with, and boom. I suddenly wanted to finish this manip. A galaxy scene became a water scene, a few concepts came around, and then a horse falling came to be. It was gonna be a YHH, but as I worked on it, the amazing HarleyKyn started loving it more and more, so I decided to sell it to her directly and do her 2 magnificent characters, Wraith (#1) and Rory . The concept is that the winged horse, Rory, is the projected soul of Wraith, the wingless, fallen angel who has hit the surface of the water. There's a lot of symbolism interwoven here and I hope the viewers enjoy interpreting this more abstract piece however it comes to them! That's how art is meant to be enjoyed, after all. As for how dang tiny it is.... all I can say is that doing my tiny little YHHs lately has been a huge help in dealing with this pixel-piece hahah. I mean, that's like if you became an actor solely because of George Clooney and then one day he complimented your acting skills--just in that you're the reason I stopped being content with horse-on-a-hill generic pieces, so to have you compliment my concept/composition is... momentous. This is absolutelyinsanelybeautifullymakesyouwannastareatitforever amazing! For such a "small" image in size, you sure as heck made it seem so so detailed. The technique behind the falling and even the whole background blending of a water/galaxy, it makes me feel like the characters are falling through one dimension to the next.
