Description Heh heh... bad pun.

Okay, this is a scene from 'Sabriel', by Garth Nix. Sabriel finds the character who comes to be known as Touchstone trapped inside the figure head of a boat... (now you get the bad pun in the title?) and goes into Death to find the imprisoned body and bring it out.

This is just the sketch. I'm working on an ACTUAL digital painting for this, and once the painting is done, I am going to slap this sketch straight into the scrap book. But... I have a small sample of what I have done so far on the painting and I am DAMN proud! So... look forward to this finished version!

Beautiful character design... I'm looking forward to seeing the finished version... And, hey!!! I'm the first one to post a comment!!! Weird... anyways. I tried a Sabriel myself ( [link] ) but I i'm not really that much into computer coloring...

Lol, neither am I. In fact, this is about the only second REAL digital painting I have done. I'm just patient.
