Crappy title but oh well. One of my favorite Greek Myths Persephone and Hades. XD Yes this was done on a whim and is very plain and very simple and sux in my oppinion. Really I should be working on other things but *sigh* Either way I was inspired last night to try drawing Persephone and drew Hades with her and bam! I come up with this...thing you see before you. Hope you all like it. I want to draw a more detailed, perspective wise picture with more things like the pomagranite and Cerberus and stuff but that'll take me a while.hmmmm...must practice more on male side profiles...scratch that. Need to practice on men more period!

It might just be me, but the ever so slight hint of femaninity in him is really kewl. I mean, I'm no pro but I absolutely adore this!

Nice job, Christie!! I love Greek myths and this was one of my favorites because it showed Hades for being more than just the god of Death but a guy who liked a girl. Yes, he tricked her and all, but Love Conquers All.

awww i love that Myth too. Greeks rocked when it came to making up excuses about our weather and shit lol.
I like the angel you have on her and the colors you used. She doesn't have that soft round chibi face that you normaly draw so she looks like an older more grown up woman.

yes I've always liked the idea of Death/Hades having a wife/girlfriend. I always thoought it would be interesting if Hades was really ust misunderstood and really could be a loving guy if he wanted to, he just got stuck with such a unlikable job and people think he's mean because of that. hehe I'm babbling again.
