Description I bought this white canvas hat a while ago at Walmart and have been trying to think of what to do with it for a while now. I decided on Animal Crossing on kind of a whim, and I'm pretty happy with the finished product

I was pretty obsessed with this game for a while, both the Gamecube version and the one for the DS. It had a super cute style, and there was always stuff to do. I'm partial to games where you amass collections over time, with no particular goal in mind, making this one particularly addictive for me <3

I used Prismacolor and Micron markers to decorate this hat. In all, it took about 5-6 hours.

Lovely art! Lucky is the owner of this hat. I particularly liked the way Tom Nook turned out.

IS there a way to seal in the art? I just don't know how these things work. I mean, if it gets wet will it wash the design off?

Thank you! He's adorable, isn't he? ^_^

I've been told there is, but haven't tested it yet. In fact, that was the purpose of making this hat. It's not my favorite of the ones I've done, so I don't mind testing the waterproofing agent with it. Right now water would definitely ruin it.

I love the hat, by the way, but I know that a matte acrylic spray sealer should do the job, and it's easy to buy at Michaels. As long as you don't soak the hat, I think it'd work. I hope that helps.

Ooh, thank you! I bought a canvas waterproofing spray, and hopefully that will work, but if not, I'll try the acrylic spray. Thanks for the advice

Not a problem! I hope it works for ya. I mean, who wouldn't want to wear that hat without worrying outside? =^_^=
