Yeah that's right, I made this because I was.... well interested in seeing what they would like all together like this. Anyways, I love the way Sonic and Blaze look in their powered up forms while wearing clothes ((Naked Sonic characters always bother me)) and a note about Blaze's cloak, it's a battle cloak created by Suzaku, The Red Phoenix and Fire Goddess of the World of Eons. It can act as an extension of her Will, serving for both defensive and offensive means and can extend to great lengths and has the power to absorb energy attacks to heal Blaze's stamina.

Well, out of them all Sonic was the first one to master Chaos Control, so I assume his mastery over space and time would be superior to the others, thus compensating the lack of elemental powers.

Nah I don't think Sonic has the ability to control wind. i think its more along the lines of how fast he is since he can instantly jump to 760mph in a single second, the empty space that's left behind is usually filled by matter and air pressure which is why when he runs at high speeds, it seems the wind is following right after him so taking that into account, I'm guessing by usually his super speed along with his flexible body movements and moving from one place to the next, it gives the impression that he's controlling the very wind itself. Sorta like if you can move fast enough around a specific object at a high enough speed, you can literally create a vacuum of high density, pressurized rotation that would literally suck the air out of the area in which he would be running around. But that's just me. Some people like to give him true wind powers, I like to stick to the actual story of Sonic with a few tweaks

Well, one could argue by bringing up the "Sonic Wind" move from SA2 or the "Somersault Kick" from Lost World 3DS as those are not caused by high speed moving. The Kick only requires a backwards flip spin and Sonic Wind can be performed simply by a hand swing, like Chaos Spear.
And another thing: by pure coincidence there's an occasion where Sonic DID get some fire control powers.

1: That Somersault Kick in Lost World looks more like its charged with Chaos Energy rather than a wind attack, which we all know like Knuckles, Tails and Shadow, Sonic is a living conduit for Chaos Energy after spending most of his life absorbing power rings.
2: Using SA2 sounds like a copout to me. One thing to be considered is when Sonic supposedlyΒ moves his one hand, its nothing but an animation cut scene before the attack begins as he uses it for his "Time Stop" as well and all characters have a single close up cutscene for their moves before releasing their attacks. Hell, Knuckles is a example of this as when he fires his Thunder Arrow, no matter where he is on screen the attack appears randomly over the opponent and strikes them down, despite the fact that the attack is fired from his hand. I could go deeper into this but I'm far from an arguing mood as of this point

1: The Somersault Kick being a Chaos Energy projectile is extremly unlikely for:
a) that way its usage would be limited by the amount of stamina Sonic has;
b) it deals no significant damage, which is untypical of Chaos Powers;
c) I doubt Sonic would learn any Chaos-based attacks that are unique to him by that time as he has little to no experience.
Also, when it hits the foes, you can see some wind surrounding them.
2: But the fact is that he doesn't need to move to activate it. He doesn't need to perform any high speed spinning like with Blue Tornado or Somersault Kick. That's similar to how Blaze can summon fire pillars anywhere regardless of her position.
Also, another question: why is Tails a living conduit for Chaos Energy? He can't even use the Emeralds power until they're turned into Super Emeralds...
