They're a closed species so you'd only be able to get one through DTA or buy one.
You'd also need to join the group and any art is only allowed to be posted on dA.

Yes but it's soooooo restrictive! That's why if I ever made a species I'd make it open, I want people to enjoy what I've created not be forced to keep it to one area. Yes it runs the risk of people trying to claim it as there's but so long as you cover your bases so long as you have enough people that know who's it is for real and a way to prove it, then you can deal with that kind of stuff

I don't mind. Especially not with this species. There's been so much drama going on you wouldn't believe it, so I really understand why people do these restrictions. I've experienced worse than just worded restrictions on a species.

That may be true, but it punishes those who actually do things correctly and treat these things with respect, so seeing these restrictions is upsetting because it's punishing those who are trying and who are doing the right things and for those who are already breaking the rules, why stop with a worded restriction?
