Straight from the sketchbook.A weird comic idea, that I may never have the time to take any further, but sharing the madness anyway.
What if...Zuko's hunt for the Avatar took him as far as North Africa, 1941-43, landing straight into the weirdest german army camp ever- the Desert Peach's unit.
I do realise that not too many people may be familair with the Desert Peach, but it has been one of my fave books for years and couldn't help but mix the two universe up. So don't worry if you are totally lost and wondering what the &?$& is going on!
And yes, the Peach would so looove to share tea with uncle Iroh.

Panel 1- Pfirsich: "I don't get to have such exotic foreign guests for tea this often. What brings you here?
Iroh: "My nephew's quest makes us travel all over the place, - it's true that the one we are searching for has a certain advantage. He can fly, while we are grounded.
Panel 2- Rosen: " Did someone say flying? - I can take you flying.
Pfirsich: "Rosen!"
Panel 3 - Pfirsich:" oh my, I should go with them. Better be wary when Rosen has "helpful urges"."
Iroh: "Let them go. Don't worry"
Rosen: "Come on, ponytail!"
Panel 4- Pfirsich: "But Rosen can be quite a...handful!"
Iroh:" Oh, I trust prince Zuko can handle him."
Panel 5- Rosen (pointing at his Stuka divebomber): "Ever been aboard one of these beauties before?"
Zuko: "That thing flies?!"
Panel 6- Rosen :"Sure can! Don't worry, with it we'll find your flying friend in no time."
Panel 7- Iroh :" Good one nephew."
Rosen :" You didn't warn me he could shoot flames!!"
Pfirsich :"It never mattered if he could or not, you probably deserved it"
(or alternate line- "I shouldn't have to warn you about anything if you had manners."
Desert Peach and Rosen belong to , Zuko and uncle Iroh belong to Mike, Bryan, Nickelodeon. Only in fanart would these two universe ever meet.

The Desert Peach is definitely an interesting serie and a different take from the usual WW2 stories. I believe Donna Barr is planning to collect the whole serie in huge books or something.
Some people find her Stinz stuff more enjoyable- I do love both, personally.

YAY! Actually, I'm surprised Zuko didn't turn him into a small pile of smoldering ash. That's what I'D do (not that... anyone..ever...hits me...there...).
I can't read what Zuko's saying in the last panel. It looks like he's saying 'shazbot' and i KNOW that's not right.

I'd have to sya that's the oddest crossover I have seen (mainly because the Desert Peach is such an obscure fandom) I actually Met donna Barr Guh years and years ago at a comic con, and she gave me one of her comics for free! Yay! envy me!

Heehee, oh, Rosen wouldn't go as far as rape poor Zuzu...but definitely would enjoy freaking him out as much as possible. He'll probably calm down a bit, knowing Zuko can shoot flames at him anytime he wants.

This is amazingly wonderful! I love the combination. I've actually been thinking that The Desert Peach and Iroh in particular would get along quite well. I'm so glad that you drew them together!

I too have never heard of "Desert Peach", but you managed to make this cute, short comic perfectly understandable for people who don't know either series.
..Though the text was, surprisingly, quite easy to read (though it was a bit difficult when it was tiny print X3;; ); that handwriting is similiar to my own~!

Stays as a sketch for the moment. If I ever run out of Avatar steam, I can always go back and revisit it later on.

I think the first line of the alternate dialogue in the last frame would work the best.... the one with "you probably deserve it" if it's said with a straight face, like he's expecting it.... just my take.

As for drawing humans...I got practice doing that by first drawing Transformers, of all things! You can't help but approach faces mechanically, which is good practice to work out face construction.
