One of my greatest fears is that one day, humans will discover an Octopus that knows how to read... If an Octopus knows how to read, then it probably knows how use its ink to write, and if it knows how to write, then it might write and publish a book about what it's like to be a Octopus... And I don't know about you, but I think an Octopus would have some pretty angry and insightful things to say about marine biologists... From there, it would be only a small leap until there's all-out genocide...
