Part 06, and since Logs and Trevor have been getting a fair amount of the limelight lately I decided this comic would be more about Fid's team. For those curious, all three of my trainers will be taking the gym challenge, but due to constraints of work (I got another job this week and hopefully a new animation client soon too, go me), I won't be drawing all three battles. You'll see what happens but don't worry, I'm gonna be trying my best to balance how much screentime each of the three gets.Thoughts of that Lillipup getting Licked: "Could've at least bought me dinner first!"

To be honest, I can't stand monkeys, so all three of the elemental monkey pokemon struggle in my opinion so far as looks are concerned, plus once they evolve they all become absurd-looking and stop gaining any moves. Not at all my favourite pokemon, but that's the fun of nuzlocke, I suppose. You end up using things you otherwise wouldn't have bothered with.

True. I think the fire type ones are the best looking in both evolved and pre evolved forms.

Hard to say, personally. Unevolved I agree, yes, but Simisear looks terrible. Truly terrible. Of the evolved I'd probably have to go with the grass type, based on appearance alone.

i dont mind the water type. mostly cuz of color. i like blue.

Fair enough. Unfortunately the water's evolved form is far too girly for me to contemplate. Same thing that stops me from using a fair few grass type pokemon, I just can't stand the flowery-ness of their appearances. Then again, I've never found something whose appearance I couldn't stand that was actually the kind of powerhouse I like on my team anyway. Meganium sucks.

eh, to a man, his opinion. i'll admit meganium is a bit odd. but it beats Feraligator. really, the whole Tododile evolution line creeps me out.

Really? You surprise me, not met many people who dislike Totodile's line. Personally I've always liked Cyndaquil best of the 2nd gen starters, but grass starters didn't work for me until Turtwig's line. Torterra is a beast.

Yaha, good ol' Grotle. I can't deal with Chimchar's line, they're just a less-cool version of Torchic's line, 'twas very disappointing. Course, that made Tepig's line all the more disappointing. Enough with the fire/fighting starter, dammit, give us another option!

Hells yes. Water/dark would be nice, provide an alternative to Sharpedo. Or perhaps a fire/psychic for a starter, that'd be interesting. My mate Kelogs had far too much fun with his Darmanitan, after all.

Darmanitan are awesome!!!! mine beat everyone in Brycen's gym, including the leader himself, and then took me all the way up dragonspiral tower without a single potion needed! he took, like, one hit from one-of-those-giant-snowflakes-i-forgot-the-name-of

Aye. Just having a giant frozen face following you about would be kinda weird, to me. Should've built a party out of only pokemon that're really easy to draw, that would've been a much smarter plan.

Indeed, but that's what the woman Xia is based on actually did, so she tells me. She took one look at Pansage, declared it too ugly to work with, and boxed it forevermore immediately.
