This picture was taken in the Parc de la TΓͺte D'Or in Lyon in Oct. 2003.I love the way in which this scene reminds of Chinese/Japanese landscape gardening mixed with a little romantic chaos (opposed to the idealized "perfect wilderness" governing authentic east asian gardening).
I resized the image on 14/01/06 for easier viewing.
10/2/06: rotated the picture to make the bridge more horizontal, some slight adjustments on saturation and contrast, added a border. Thanks for all your helpful suggestions

This is a really amazing picture! I love the reflection and the lighting is gorgeous. I think it would help to add some more contrast, or saturation in this photo, but other than that, I think this is an amazing photo. It seems almost like a painting, and I agree with your description about how it looks Asian and wild mixed together.

Beautiful piece! This place looks so wondeful and peaceful... There is something surreal and almost magical about the reflections in the water. I like the composition as well - the bridge isn't too centered and I like the way the trees and greenery surrounding frame the bridge. Nicely done!

I love that bridge and the reflection, it's so unnatural but still fits the entire atmosphere of the photo.
I also like how there seems to be a little bit of mist/fog in the background, makes it look more mysterious.

wow! those colors are amazing... and that reflection... damn! This pic has ALOT of potential. My only sugestion would be to u the contrast\saturation marginally and give it a simple black border. Nice pic
