Well since everyone else was doing one… I felt the need to do a “Wings of
___” picture. And I felt Saix never gets any love and he’s pry my favorite hoodie!

So as anyone that comes to my page should know, I have a couple good DA friends that we all trade art back and forth, links below. And Roxie started a “Wings of ____” pictures that kinda’ of caught on. So this one’s mine.

“Wing of Saix” is a bit different then the other 3 of the “series” between the 3 of us because Saix doesn’t have wings sprouting from his back and he’s not floating in a white sea with an emo look on his face. (no offence ladies) He’s still “alive” in this art but you can see the traces of a wing in the night sky behind him, foreshadowing his “death” if you will. I also found it romantic, and not in the valentine’s day sense, that he was holding his heart with a look, that to looks to me, like he’s asking the dieing moon why this fate was chosen for him.

The most difficult part of this drawing was the wing. You have no idea how much time I spent wrestling with a million ideas for a wing. Nothing seemed to fit with him and his element (darkness/ madness) but as I was browsing though my pictures and I came across a picture of Nero (from dirge of Cerberus) ’s creepy wings. Then it kind of clicked. Saix needed wings that weren’t natural or sane. They need to be crazy and harsh that he would tare you to shreds with. Thus the metal bone looking wing you see was born.

Next on my list is “Wings o:”: Xigbar, Xemnas, Axel (if no one else does him)

If I really have to tell you Saix isn’t mine… your stupid.
Saix belongs to Disney/ square enix…. Stupid.
