Personally I would've put Bowser against King K. Room but that's just me. Still this match is hard to call but I think ganondorf wins due to having more experience and records of success.

since both are immortal to some degree, it's hard to say.
But while Bowser can be Godzilla sized, he does still lose to Mario anyways. The intelligence gap between Ganon and Bowser is like Lex Luthor (on par with the alien superrobot Brainiac) and Taokaka (boobie lady :3)

This fight could go either way.
Bowser is the King of the Koopas, he is physically stronger then Ganondorf by a mile, he might lack in the intelligence department but he is very persistent and extremely patient, he is also nearly indestructible surviving things that would probably kill anyone else, he is also skilled in black magic.
Ganondorf is the self proclaimed King of Evil, he is alot stronger then any ordinary man, he has great swordsmanship, is skilled in black magic like bowser, he is also nearly indestructible beacause of the Triforce of Power.
Both of them seem to loose their cool rather quickly but they share a weakness that msot villains do, their arch rivals aka. Mario and Link.
Whenever someone else has tried to defeat them those people have usually lost, so I will say it may go either way alltough I will put my money on the King of the Koopas.

This is a tricky one given that it's basically granted that you need two parts of the Triforce to overpower the third and Bowser is always invulnerable to conventional combat methods in his games.

Yet two plumbers simply jumping on his head, throwing him and smacking him defeats him everytime. No offense to anyone that likes Bowser heck, I like Bowser as a character, it's just that he is the biggest jobber in Nintendo history. Hes really pathetic, considering he is almost indestructible. Hes even got Giga and Dry Bowser forms, bu neither of them are enough to stop the onslaught of boots, gloves, and hammers, that comes when fighting the Mario Bros.

It would be non-canon, as the fight can happen either way, meaning there is no real representation of how that fight would actually go. Therefore Mario has never beaten Link in canon, Link has never beaten Mario in canon. But, in a death battle setting such as this Mario would get wiped by Link, just like how Ganondorf would obliterate Bowser.

Link has Nayru's Love which lasts at least 10x longer and has the same effect. He also has the magic armor, which lasts as long as he has rupees, and also has that same effect. So I need to ask you a question, have you ever played a single zelda game in your lifetime? Also this battle isn't about smash bros. It's about two characters from their own respective game series' fighting it out to the death, and, like I do remember saying, in a Death Battle scenario, NOT A SMASH BROS. FIGHT, Mario would lose oh so horribly to Link, and Ganondorf would just be able to kill Bowser.

Dude Bowser and Ganondorf were created by two fucking different people, learn your facts. Also look at one of my fucking previous comments and tell me what it says. I'm a fan of Bowser as well, but Ganondorf would clean house, here are my facts. The Master Sword right? It's supposed to be the only thing that can actually kill him, and yet, to this very day, Ganondorf is yet to be confrimed to have been killed by the Master Sword, even after being stabbed through the skull. Sure, Bowser isn't dead either, but let's look at the durability feats, a stab wound to the skull is what defeated Ganondorf in OoT, throwing Bowser around WHILE HE HAD THE POWER OF MORE THAN 100 STARS is how you beat him in Mario 64. Jumping on his head, smacking him with a mallet. I don't see any mortal wounds on this list. I'm not seeing any reason to believe Bowser's the more durable guy. Actual physical prowess? Yeah that goes to Bowser. Bowser had moved an island once. Beast Ganon doesn't even have that feat. Magic and special abilities, Ganondorf takes that one. Speed, while he may be slower in SSB, Ganondorf is actually the faster of the two, in fact he doesn't even need to walk, the guy just floats everywhere. And lastly, one of the biggest things, is intelligence, Bowser is dumb, like dumb as a rock, while Ganondorf, actually plans things out, especially in Twilight Princess.

We were actually talking about how Ganondorf is essentially unkillable, without that Master Sword, and even then, it's never been confirmed that Ganondorf has ever been killed, by the person wielding it. He's even been stabbed through his skull and it did literally nothing but weaken him so the sages could seal him in the Sacred Realm. He's yet to be confirmed to be dead in both TP and Windwaker. Also, Ganon is way smarter than Bowser, and slightly more powerful when it comes to magic abilities. Also, let's face it, two plumbers constantly beat the crap out of him by jumping on his head and throwing him. For a guy with an indestructible shell, and a Giga form, that's pretty pathetic.

While both are powerful in their own right, I am going to be basing this off of Smash Bros, and let's face it, Ganondorf's fucking terrible in the Smash Bros series as a whole while Bowser has actually gotten much better as of SSB 3DS/WiiU (hell, possibly even top tier while Ganondorf still isn't doing much better since Melee and especially since his serious nerfing in Brawl...)

Ganondorf is amazing, you just gotta get good. Seriously, everybody told me Robin sucked, and I proceeded to kick their asses with him. I play with people who have placed pretty high in tournaments too. There is no such thing as a bad or good character, just a bad or good player.

THIS!. The only thing there exist in a FG, are the player AND the tools of it's character. I agree that, some characters have more tools than others, and that's why it gives the game some HUGE variety.
In a match-up between Bowser and Ganondorf (i'm talking of Sm4sh), it will always depend on the player. I have seen Mega Man's able to beat REALLY tough people. In FG, it's mostly about how you handle with the character, and also the way you do mind games with your opponent. In SCV, i use Raphael, who is like in mid-low tier, and those tiers, are mostly used for GUIDE, of the versatility of the tools they have. Getting back on topic, in Smash, Bowser it's a heavy fighter, with a bunch of DEADLY attacks. The boost they made to him in Sm4sh is just incredible! I used him in Brawl, but they REALLY boosted what he lacked on!. And Ganondorf it's a heavy fighter aswell, with attacks with low start up ofc, but really dangerous to deal with!.
On the REAL topic, if we talk of Smash, it will depend on the player. I have seen MANY impossible comebacks in FG. And if it's meant in the canonical character itself, believe it or not, they would end in tie. Both have their own still of fighting, and really versatile for each of them. Bowser can attack with fireballs, claws, bites, and more; while Ganondorf has fighting skills, sword handle knowledge, and also the Tri-Force on his side. Even so, they can even get into massive, enormous form to fight. Bowser getting enormous, to size of galaxies or mini planets, and Ganondorf turning into it's true form: Ganon, which gets REALLY dangerous in this form. Even so, they could be at the same spot. Both are strategist (Ganondorf with a really complex one), and when they finally succeed, they get beaten by either a plumber, or a blonde guy that stole Peter Pan's suit, and made a ridicolously huge knife that Pan didn't have.
It's up to people actually to say that.Β
