If Zordon wasn't confined to his Time-Warp and could move around in a body of his own, I would say this would be a close match.
Wiz: "Every young hero in Science Fiction has to have a Powerful, Wise Old Mentor to guide them on their journey to fulfill their destiny and battle Evil."
Boomstick: "Like Yoda - Jedi Master and wielder of the Force."
Wiz: "And Zordon - Leader of the Power Rangers and...Giant Floating Head in a Tube."
Boomstick: "And Today we're gonna watch these Old Geezers Fight Each Other. He's Wiz, and I'm Boomstick."
Wiz: "And It's our job to Analyze their Weapons, Armor and Skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!"
Yoda's connection to the Force is unparallelled, second only to Luke Skywalker in Power. He was effectively the most Powerful Jedi Master in the Galaxy for 800 of his 900 year old life.
Unfortunately, Yoda lives by a Jedi's Code of Honor - in that, a Jedi would only use the force as a method of Defense during a battle and not as a Means to attack - as using the force as a weapon is generally a Sith-Oriented trait, connected Heavily with the Dark Side. Fortunately however, Yoda can command the force to alter his body, allowing his old bones and muscles to function even in great old age, giving him incredible strength, agility and acrobatic abilities. And of course, we know that Yoda - as a Jedi Knight - is no stranger to a Lightsaber. (Hey - their role is they can't use the FORCE as a weapon. Glowing Laser Sword is okay)
Zordon is very similar as he is a Wise old Wizard who serves as a mentor for the Youth. But unlike Yoda, Zordon is reported to be over 10,000 years old, as he was a strong wizard and a capable warrior to have imprisoned Rita Repulsa in her space dumpster over 100 centuries ago. So Zordon definitely is older than Yoda, and with Age comes Experience. Zordon is a wizard, and although contained to a Time Capsule, he is no stranger to using his powers. He is capable of tapping into the Morphing Grid to revive the completely drained Green Ranger powers. Zordon is also a brilliant scientist, having designed most of the high-tech equipment of the Command Center and the Zords themselves.
But despite his great Power, Zordon is ultimately a Peaceful Man, preferring the way of Non-Violence unless escalated by a powerful opponent, and only in the interest of protecting others. Zordon is so pure as a being, that he is the literal personification of Goodness in the entire universe; and upon his death, releases an energy wave that cleanses all forms of Evil and Corruption from the Universe itself.
In a way - when Yoda died, he became One with the Force...Zordon...IS the Force.
Wiz: "Alright; the Combatants are SET. Let's end this debate, once and for all..."
Boomstick: "IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BAAAAAAAAAAAATTLE!!!"

This could be interesting if you take Zordon before he was trapped in his time warp and technically he is the one who destroyed the force of evil in the universe besides Rita, Zedd, Divatox and Astromena who were turned into humans.
