Description
I took this picture when I was at the highest level of the most fancy hotel in "Mineral de Pozos", the hotel is owned by an American. The hotel also has a great restaurant where we ate a nice meal that day.As you may think, this is not an HDR.

Mexico seems similar to Brasil where I had been several times - great colors, lots of light and kind and friendly persons
PS: the available light there is made for taking IR shots...

Well, I have no idea, I have never been in Brazil before, maybe I should think about that possibility for the future.
I never thought about taking IR pictures in Mexico, the reason is a bit that it takes a lot of time with a non modified camera and the longer you are busy, the more you flag yourself as a possible target to be robbed. I should consider a modified DSLR for IR picture.

The ir radiation is very intense and I only used a not-modded camera (NikonD70)

Those shots are amazing! Tell me more about this kind of DSLR for IR shots, the results are more satisfying then wit a non modified camera and also the shutterspeeds are more acceptable for out of hand shot if i'm correct?

Using a modded camera is totally easy the sxposure times are similar to taking standard photos with a standard camera! If You decide to let Your cam be modded to IR it will cost about 250-450β¬ depending on the camera type! You wonΒ΄t need a tripod...

I guess it would be more useful to have a Canon as modified camera so the lenses i have can be used on it instead of buying another brand camera and lenses. But not all lenses work that good i have read (hotspot)? Or is that only with a non modified camera?

I also guess it would be better to have a Canon modified. I donΒ΄t know about these hotspot-problems with modified cameras. Just visit and ask!
