Hmmmmm, so when it comes to light and pony I guess Celestia was the obvious choice. So here is ATG 57. This week is massively unoriginal as it's just Celestia standing there not doing a whole lot. I tried to mix it up with a little perspective but she ended up just having a big foot. And she looks really pink now that I've added the yellow background.Related content

Nice perspective. I agree the leg does look a bit oversized but other than that great. She could use a bit of whitening, but that's still okay. My main complaint is the shading on her shoes. Having that tiny really dark patch in the center of each throws it off. It's an eyesore, to be honest; looking at it bugs the crap out of me.

It bugs the crap out of you? Me too. I was thinking of getting rid of it but I wanted it to be like glassy or metally, and I just don't know how to draw that. You like have to mix dark and light really close and it kinda worked with the collar so I tried the same thing with her shoes but to no avail. That is something that I really have to work on. Thanks for the feedback.

I guess Celestia was too popular a choice for a lot of us to pass up this week (myself included) but this one is awesome. I think you're being too critical on yourself as far as the perspective is concerned. It does look a lot more like she has her front foot closer to the viewer, so mission accomplished there. It's her glow from her horn and the neat gleam on her jewelry that I'm most impressed with. Another great piece, keep it up.
As for her standing there not doing a whole lot; that must sum up an awful lot of the princess's days anyway

No, dealing with obnoxious sycophants like Jet Set and Upper Crust and her frakwit nephew as well as paperwork and other administrative tasks takes up a lot of it.

Thanks, maybe I am being too critical and I know that can be a bore but I kinda wanted it to be more of a ground shot, like where you'd get no neck and just her head creeping out, but if you cover up her feet, she's just the same as always.
Haha, standing around not doing a whole lot is the princesses day anyways, seems like that's why everyone wants to be the princess.
